Poster of Intolerance
Wallace Reid was such a consummate artist. He worked extremely hard and gave it more than a hundred per cent in effort for his art. Wally was featured in this 1916 film by his beloved director D.W.Griffith.But he was not the main attraction (he was never that in both Griffith films). Yet, no matter how small the role, Wally made sure that he gave an excellent performance.
Jesse L. Lasky- Producer
He signed Wally into his Jesse L.Lasky Feature Plays Company after noticing him in "The Birth of a Nation "(1915). Mr.Lasky loved his star and he had all the reasons to do so. He was not only a money maker for his company,. he was also a very compliant, good natured star, whose success didn't go to his head.
Cleo Ridgely
She was Wally's leading lady in many of his 1916 films. She was extremely lovely.
